MITA SEMINAR IN GLOBAL BUSINESS STRATEGY & ENTREPRENEURSHIP

This course examines current issues related to global business strategy and entrepreneurship including: positioning, assessment of corporate strengths and weaknesses, identification of opportunities and risks technological innovation, localization, marketing, joint ventures, and global leadership styles.

The first half of the course focuses primarily on strategy. The second half of the course focuses primarily on entrepreneurship and students will prepare a business plan for starting a business of their own.

The course will be conducted as a seminar with lecture-discussions, student group presentations, case studies, video segments, experiential class activities, and research assignments.

This course is conducted entirely in English and enrollment is limited to 15 students.
